Normally Kaleb would have already had a preference who he wanted to be partnered with in his head but today he did not. Right now his main focus was indeed the fact that no matter who he got partnered with he wanted to win. He thought that perhaps if it was best he would call it a little friendly competition but in no way was it friendly, not in the end anyway.
None the less he waited patiently to see whom he got paired up with and then and only then would he do whatever it took to win and apologize after.

He looked around sizing everyone up. Whomever he went up against he was going to have to out perform. He looked at each person in the classroom to see how they would act in a duel. "This is gonna be fun" He whispered to himself.
He looked over at Helios who was now sitting on the bench next to him. Now was the good part, now he would be able to be in combat learn new spells and get batter with a little rivalry. WHo knows he may be able to get an arch rival. Never can tell

Penny bounced on the balls of her feet. When she'd originally heard about the duelling classes (really, that's what they sounded like, classes) she hadn't been too excited. Duelling had been one of the first things Penny had ever looked up when she started at Hogwarts and from what she remembered, it was full of rules and regulations. She wouldn't have been surprised if the Slytherin girl was right.
Regardless of right or wrong, however, Penny was thrilled when the headmaster announced the version of the rules they would be using. Proper fighting really was more her style.

"Right then" Murphy added, finally gaining the silence he so desired. He scanned the crowd quickly, measuring up the weak from the possibly strong, and then the questionable ones... without anything further he began pointing up pairings, "you and you" he added rather carelessly "and you and her... right." he nodded and then stopped on the insolent fool who'd made a request to be partnered up, well.. it might be bloody he supposed and grunted "and then you two." and with that said he turned to face everyone, shifting his gaze across their blank stupid minds. He knew it would be work, yes.. but he was confident he could raise them all into strength that no one could deny. His own personal army. He grinned. "Now go off now. Show me what you got, no holding back, I didn't hire a nurse to just sit idly" he mumbled under his breath, though was sure a few of the students may have heard, not that he'd care. He was headmaster. (Okay here are the pairings:
James & Lachlan
Ana & Kaleb
Judge & Jasper
Caelani & Accord
Penny & Olive or Dale or Batty, it's your choice 
Just start a thread in either tower 1 or tower 2. Have fun! I'll be taking a look every so often in the matches and perhaps posting or what have you..  soo uhhh yeah!
