When Ana was placed with the Ravenclaw, she turned her sneer toward him, looking him over in an effort to size him up. In truth, she knew nothing about the guy. He was younger and in a different house, and she cared very little for most boys, especially those she didn't know. It was a vicious cycle, and she was well aware of it, but she couldn't find an ounce within her to give a shit. But. The fact of the matter was that she did not know him, and therefore could not place him in terms of capabilities. So she would have to test them. She turned heel and made her way to the second tower before Kaleb, picking it specifically because, well, of course she did. No one dueled in the normal tower, it was boring. Limitations needed to be pushed. Rules needed to be twisted. If Murphy wanted a show, he would get it from Miss Louisiana Gray. She had a simple idea in mind, and she hoped he wouldn't argue. With the enchantments in place, the dueling ring shrunk to almost half the size, surrounding itself in a dark void. Glimpses of light began to spark from beneath the platform, giving rise to a molten bed of lava beneath them. Of course it wouldn't really hurt them, it was fake, but it'd be a surprise to fall into nonetheless, and that was the point. If one of them were to fall, it'd be the end of that. Like their own personal volcano, ready to erupt at the center, or to fall beneath the (extremely large) cracks. "What do you think?" Ana mused to her company, "Too boring? Should we spice it up?"@kaleb hey hope you don't mind that i picked the tower! if ya' wanna change anything, do tell me c:

If Kaleb did not think this girl was fifty shades of pale before, he surely did now. He looked down and his hair went straight down to his face. He sighed almost inwardly as he pushed it back. It was fancy but come on none of that matter.
"It's fine, I mean.."
He expected a bit better but it would do for this time.
"It'll do fine anyway."
He planned to win, which more than likely meant he'd lose but still.
"The location is wise in it's own way too."

Ana watched the boy examine the arena with a blank expression, and it irritated her just a tad. There was a part of her that knew that he was likely just doing this to keep her off his scent. Not that Ana could particularly smell fear, but certainly she would fake it if it meant further panic. But she simply couldn't read the guy.
"It'll do fine anyway."
Blue eyes widened a bit, darting across his expression. Just fine? She glared at him momentarily, lip curling in disgust. What a prize, he was. Clearly, something was a bit lacking there. Or perhaps that was all a part of his game. She knew she could do better, but what was her better in comparison to his? "Fine," She mocked beneath her breath, flicking her head back, as well as adding in an unnecessary eye roll.
She waved her hand lazily, to brush his commentary off. What did it matter anyway? They'd find out who could best who, and Ana would simply have to force herself to acknowledge they were on equal, unsure ground. Pulling her wand out from her sleeve, she readied it before her, black painted fingers holding it with lackadaisical limpness. "I suppose we should simply start then. Unless you wish to exchange pleasantries and tea," Red lips pulled back on the emphasis of tea, bearing her teeth in a crude smile, as she was wont to do even unintentionally. She stood herself on the left side of the platform, awaiting Kaleb's position.

Kaleb laughed. Ana, well Ana's actions were funny, Ana herself not so much. Was she upset? That would be even more funny.
"Okay so you want me to lie. Alright this is the greatest set up I have ever seen. Thank you for gracing me with something so awesome."
Kaleb knew he needed to take this serious because learning to duel was another way to defend yourself but when he seen her pull out her wand and hold it carelessly he could not. Maybe it was a ploy of hers but he thought maybe she just did not care. No one ever said she needed dueling after all.
None the less he pulled out his wand. This was where the real fun would begin! He bowed and spoke.
"Come on, put some sass into holding your wand. Don't make this too easy on me."

He said something snarky, and Ana tapped her wand against her cheek, blankly staring him down. "Very good," She finally smirked, his words grazing over her as she willed them to. He could taunt her all he wanted, but Ana's rage was a constant variable, not something that needed to be coaxed. If he wanted things to be awkward, she'd gladly make them awkward, and then neither of them would be happy, and that'd be just dandy.
She bowed with him, listening to him without really listening, eyes looking through him as she considered what he first move would be. There was a signature spell that Ana always used to end a fight, but this was something much more well defined. Besides, she didn't know if it would stop him. She had seen people power through her worst, and it just made her learn all that much more.
As soon as she stepped back into place, she curtly turned around with a déboulé, casting a confident, "Flipendo," to get things started.

Being upfront was a good quality during anything except for dueling, because now he had barely but still sucessfully been knocked back. He shakily got up as he shook his head. Fine if that was to be how it was.. He pulled out his wand and spoke.

He shook his head. He always had the worse luck when it came to dueling and still he enjoyed it.

He got back up, and Ana was tempted to knock him back down before he even got his bearings. But, he seemed to brush it off pretty easily, and she supposed that wasn't much of a surprise. She wanted to ruin the guy, and all she did was lightly shove him. Was that what she got for showing off? Possibly. But she wouldn't stop showing off even if she were on the floor, bloody and burning. Which seemed to be Kaleb's idea, as she crossed her arms and formed a bubble of protego, his fiery blast had missed her by a long shot. But she still felt the heat radiate from the wall, a grim reminder of what may have been if he succeeded. She couldn't help but wonder if this guy was the type to bring a tank to a fist fight. Who the hell starts off with a curse to that degree? Then again, they were only getting started, and this was a reminder to never expect the least from an opponent. To give him a taste of his own medicine, she, too, wished to explode him into bits, her anger bubbling as ominously as the pseudo-lava below. She flourished forward with an Expulso, smiling wickedly as blue sparks shot off into a burst of blinding light from her wand. EJ4nSM49pssst, there's a dice roll option above the post box! it's the giant white die at the end (;

ooc: oh thanks! i was wondering how you did that i'll come back and add it in, but for post sake let's say this time he got a 3 Ana could flourish! That was something he needed to remember. Maybe after this she could at least due him the credit of patting him on the back. None the less as the blinding light came from her wand, Kaleb had to shield his eyes for a second which caused his wand to tip over a little bit but thankfully not drop. Still he got hit with the blast. It stung only a lot. Too bad their were no time outs in dueling. Standing up he spoke. ObscuroHe needed a minute before they went at it again. Now all he had to do was get on the good side of offense. zl8XhPtV

Through the blast, Ana's smile remained, but... When the light diminished, the Ravenclaw was still standing. A little bit worse for the wear, but standing nonetheless. Of course she was disappointed. She expected blood and carnage, and all she got was a lightly charred scruff boy. Ugh. She crossed her arms in ponder for a moment, while he staggered a bit. But, shuffling around meant very little in a duel, and he kept up his game, and he attempted to blind her. Acting fast, she pulled her fingers up and was able to block the spell from bouncing against her pretty, little face with protego. But just barely. A little bit of panic set into her then, though she swallowed it down as best as she could. If she had been just a tad slower, she would be beyond vulnerable. The panic melted into bitterness. This guy was kind of really annoying. She held her wand in a tight fist now, glaring him down. "Slugulus Eructo." She began like a command, casting the charm with an elegant fling of her arm. Even in her fury, she didn't pass up the chance to look better than the other person. And hell, if this didn't render him useless, she had a few ideas in mind. OXrkYsWXNo problem, friendo~! :3

It was strange but he liked Ana in that "Totally going to stay away from her but she has lots of moxy" way. However that did not stop her spell from going off and when it did... "What in the total fu..." Slime, not sweet slime if such a thing existed but salty, thick, and the taste..it tasted as if someone had the audacity to lean their running nose over his mouth and let the mucus evenly distrubute itself in his mouth. It came up. It came up! That gross dry but slimy looking creature with it's beady like antenna. That was not the worse part though, the worse part was that Kaleb would forever swear that the slug took a shit in his mouth on the way out. He was going to need a whole new mouth at this rate. As the slug projectiled itself onto the floor, Kaleb felt himself froze. Who would not be, what had just happened was beyond gross. [ i shall lick you grossly when you return, lol]

There was a pause, before the sewage spewed from Kaleb's lips. Almost instantly, a cackle rang from Ana, and she threw her head back in delight. A legitimate smile finally plastered on her face, only at the sight of watching some poor kid vomit up a slug. He seemed to be in shock, and who wouldn't be? Well... Ana wouldn't be. She could hardly keep down her lunches due to her shitty stomach issues, vomiting up a slug would be like vomiting up a new friend, someone she could keep in a jar for a bit before it withered away. Something like that couldn't be "returned" to the wild, because it came from her mouth. But, even temporary gifts were still gifts. She stepped forward then, toward the Ravenclaw, feigning a pout through her laughter, "Oh no," She began in a taunt, "Did ickle, little Gandy have a spill?" Another laugh, "Please, tell me you're not done. I have a few more tricks up my sleeves." Her tone harsh and cutting. She pretended to pull up her sleeves for emphasis. And she was so tempted to continue on, to try to burying him in horrendous zits and so on, but she refrained. That look on his face was enough to even still Ana's malicious tirade. Lick away, bb B)

He inhaled slowly and exhaled even slower. He despised her which in his opinion was worse than if he just would have went with the feeling of hating her. He did not know her enough to hate her. Also slug! Slug! He stepped towards her. This was so disgusting, utterly so that he wanted to ask her to make him claw his eyeballs out but not yet.
"Wow,"
he said as he wiped his mouth.
"You're neat but utterly disgusting."
Another step. Annd, two, three, four more total. They were face to face now.
"I really feel like this is a moment we need to share."
So he licked her, right on the side of the face.
"Slug juice for two,"
he said as he quickly stepped back.
"Now.."
he said as he went to go pull out his wand once more but..oh fucking great..
"Ha, too late to say sorry right?"

"You're neat but utterly disgusting." "Ohhh, how shweet of yew to shay," Ana said in a sickly sweet, patronizing tone, like someone talking to an infant. She twirled her wand in her fingers smugly, waiting for him to finish collecting himself. Though she would never admit it, it gave her a rather large ego boost, as that was exactly the person Ana wanted to be. She thrived on being off-putting, yet interesting. She didn't care about what people had to say, unless it was a compliment. But he descended upon her, b-lining like he knew exactly what he was doing. She could only eye him up and down as he close the gap between them. "I really feel like this is a moment we need to share.""Wh--?" Before she could even say a word, the boy took her cheek and made it into a canvas for his disgusting tongue. She recoiled back in horror; not much unlike a B-list scream queen, a bloodcurdling screech echoed in the tower louder than any dueling injury she could have experienced. In her fist, her wand nearly made like a shiv and stabbed through Kaleb's putrid, disgusting flesh, but instead she shoved him away. She took multiple steps back, her hand to her cheek. This was why she hated men. There was a hesitation, where she felt the contents of her stomach shift. The bland breakfast she had earlier today. But Ana did not need her voice to properly conjure her favorite incantation: The Bat-Bogey Hex. If he thought the slug was bad, she hoped he bled to death from bats trying to escape his stupid, ugly face. And she cast it with a downward swing of her arm, as if she were pretending to stab him, as she truly wished to do so at this point. htMgnX5xgod ofc i got a bad roll on ana's favorite spell PFFFF

Good thing Ana did not have a knife. Kaleb almost felt like he would have died since the look in her eyes clearly said that he could go to hell and burn. For one reason or another he imagined it with the strangest hint of a Louisiana twinge. "Yay, now we're experiencing fun times." Her maybe, him not so much. Thankfully her spell was not quite effective enough which he was grateful for because at this point it seemed Ana was attempting to make every type of living creature come out of every hole Kaleb possessed and that was something he would rather skip out on. That was when he spotted it, his wand. Quickly dashing for it and grabbing it he turned to Ana. "Locomotor Wibbly" iXhHS7G9[ now kaleb will forever be scared to pee for fear of something crawling out D: and i wannnt to roll a 1! damn it ]

It was beyond aggravating to Ana that, in that moment, she could hardly cast a single spell properly. Her claim to fame had failed tremendously, and Kaleb's face was still relatively intact. She wished to see him bloodied and beaten, she wished to see him scream and beg for mercy as bats flew out of that honker of his. But, she was too busy gagging over on her side of the fiery ring, trying extremely hard to keep herself from losing her breakfast. It was just like Ana to be so weak over something so meaningless, but she could still feel the bristles of his chin on her cheek, and she wanted to rip them all out one by one. Bent away from Kaleb and dry heaving, she hardly noticed he was still intent on fighting her. Before she even realized, he muttered his little spell and she was thrown from where she stood, losing balance from the sheer force, as well as the incantation itself. Falling forward, her knees snapped beneath her, splitting apart in different directions, and she collapsed like a marionette being cut from its strings. "Son of a bitch!" Was all she could manage to scream out from the pain, fingernails curling into the stone below her head. The only reason her face hadn't smashed into the ground was what primal instinct she had to shield it with her now bruising arms. This was what she got for being so weak willed. He gained the upper hand simply because she couldn't stomach a little foreplay. Her legs growing numb beneath her, she pushed her torso from the floor, eyes searching frantically for her wand. And when she spotted it dancing near the edge of the platform, she took no hesitation to drag herself over, as if she had done this plenty of times before. And maybe she had. Ana forced herself onto her knees, her burning glare finally turning to Kaleb. She refused to show any more weakness. This little show was becoming much too real for her liking. "You fiendish little boy, I will rip you apart!" She snarled, but her body was pathetically limp in comparison to her heavy words. Throwing her arm overhead, wand pointed upward, a large bellowing flame came from its tip, and she cast the only spell she knew that could match her rage: Fiendfyre. 73r0_Iubwatch me get a fuckin' 1 on fiendfyre i was going to have her fall in her puke but i decided maybe there's been enough puking perhaps maybe
EDIT: IM SCREAMING JUST NOTHING CAME OUT OF HER WAND APPARENTLY IT WAS A BLIP OF LIGHT OOPS?????
