The tall, lanky, blonde, and cocky Slytherin known to his classmates as Judge strolled into the Great Hall with his usual demeanor. He'd been given time away from school since his father's passing to help his mother sort through his will and belongings. Judge was probably the richest kid at the school now having been given most if not ALL of his father's savings both wizards money and muggle money. Not only did he get left money but also two houses, a business to run in Hogsmeade upon graduation of Hogwarts, but also he was now the second partner to owning half of the Holyhead Harpies.
Judge had arrived back at the castle very early this morning, tired he had decided to skip breakfast and catch up on some sleep. Hunger had woken him and here he was, back in the fold of the castle and his 'friends', those that had wrote him were all girls infatuated with him but the others.... well there were no others. Since their fight Noel had been dead to him. Batty also hadn't written and he had mixed feelings about it. About her. Why her? Then there was Charlotte who was also a feeling he hadn't experienced yet. Feelings sucked.
On top of this, even though they had never seen eye to eye, he still hadn't dealt with his passing. Again, feelings sucked.
The Slytherin paused at the top of the steps and scanned the room before joining his House's table. Darthwale quickly scooted down pulling his three plates of bacon and eggs, "Good evenin' Judge! Welcome back mate, and sorry about your father."
Judge eyed his large friend's selection of food, "Jaysus mate did ye' leave enough fer the rest of us?"
Darthwale eyes his plates then pushes one of them to Judge giving a awkward smile, "Mum says I need to cut back on my meal intake."
Judge forks a piece of bacon and eggs, "Meals, she meant meals bub. And you know Darthwale I expected at least a letter or informal appearance from me best mate, but nothin' and it really hurt mate."
The look on Darthwales face was absolutely pure hurt as he played with his fork spilling eggs onto the table, "School Judge kept me busy! I...I...I...tried!"
Judge smiled and waved his hand, "No problem lad," all the Slytherin table were watching Judge mindfully as most of the school knew he could curse them without a single muttered word, "I believe I'll sit with my other best mates."
Grabbing his plate he stood up and stalked sulkily to a empty corner of the Hufflepuff table, a shock that rippled through the Slytherin table, but with a wink Judge pointed his wand at the unaware Darthwale who was stuffing his face and a white light shot silently at Darthwale.
"Mmmm! Mmmm!" The large Slytherin boy stood up and fell backwards over the long bench grabbing at the place where a mouth should be, "Mmmm! Mmmm!"
Instead all that could be seen was a solid thing of skin where the mouth should be, laughing Judge snatched a piece of toast from a frightened Hufflepuff first year and shoves it into his mouth.
Judge was back.
