Harriet is a thirteen year old Hufflepuff who absolutely loves people, although her isolated family life hasn't provided her with the social opportunities needed to interact normally with others so that she often says and does odd things. She has no frame of reference for any pop culture, wizarding or muggle, a curious attitude toward blood, and little to no fear of death or injury.
Harriet's family is basically the wizarding version of a freaky, vampire cult. Over two hundred year ago, a Lazur was bitten and turned by a vampire and has come to be known as 'The Time Keeper' of the Lazurs. Harriet's family are descended from his twin brother's line and live to serve him in return for certain promises he has made. One is the promise that at the time of death for any family member, they will be given a choice, and if they so choose, he will save them. So far no family member has chosen to become a vampire and all have died of natural causes in old age. (Lazur Family Tree)
I'm looking/hoping for a few things specifically. In the ways of the world, Harriet is terribly naive and I would love for an older student to take on the role of corrupting her, so to speak. I'd like at least one close friend, close to her age, and of the female variety that could possibly be invited to stay at her home in the future for super fun, terrorizing RP opportunities. I'm also open to any other plots or ideas you guys can come up with!
