The dungeon stairs echoed and groaned as the slytherin third years came down in a pack. The tallest boy with brown hair and pinched nose said the new password (it was "burning hogsmeade", because who doesn't like roasted concrete), and lead the students into the common room. Most of the students entering had separated immediately into little cliques of whispering girls or loud boys. They had all found a corner of the vast chambre to occupy; most sat on the green embroidered cushion chairs or the black linen arm chairs next to the fire; one group of girls even sat on this giant creaking old armoire that probably contain the body of one of the slytherin ghosts. After the flood of black and green coloured bodies blurred from the doors, the only one left was Delilah. She stood her ground, looking quite pissed off as most slytherins do, and walked to the center of the room. A dark magneta carpet decorated with line work of the school's latin manifestos was thrown and crumpled via the feet of these bastard children. Delilah straightened it, and as no one bothered to look in her direction anyway, she placed a stationary jinx on the woven cloth to keep it tidy. It was a nice thing to do, so Delilah vowed to never act like a kissass hufflepuff again as she straightened up and looked at the room. She had cut her hair so the dyed black locks sat a full inch shorter above her shoulders, her middle parted hair shined against the weak glow the slytherin ornament chandelier above hand.
Delilah walked to the corner of the chamber where the only space left was a dark green bar stool and a table against the wall, threads hang off the fabric that covers the stool. Delilah sat down and took out her copy of Rumours! Magazine and her leather covered sketch book. When she took out her feathered pencil to finish outlining her portrait of Myron Wagtail (from Weird Sisters ), the girls on the beanbags next to her looked weirdly at Delilah. She being one of the only students that use "muggle" invented things - e.g pencils! they are so much easier to use and way safer to write with! why any reasonable wizard who would rather the idea of using clumsily big quills than compact pencils or muggle bics, is beyond Delilah, but atleast she's gets to do neat line work without fear of spillage or broken tips. Interrupted by the noise of split wood, a few minutes after Delilah had started tracing Wagtail's jawline, Delilah looked up from her tearstained table, and apparently - someone had shattered a chair on another student's shoulder. Due to the slytherin's characteristics, most of the students had gathered around the brawl and started cheering. "fight!fight!" a rant had already started as the two slytherins stood in the middle, circling each othert like bulldogs. Delilah watched, it seemed interesting enough.

Lachlan's eyebrow stung where a splinter had embedded itself in his face. Not deep enough to bleed, but it still hurt. His mouth twisted into an expression of distaste as he watched his opponent's movements. It would almost be more pleasant if it had been deeper. At least then it would be proper pain instead of this irritating, niggling thing.
One of them was going to have to halt the stalemate, and as the voices exhorting them to fight filtered into his consciousness, Lachlan suddenly decided that he wouldn't mind obliging. Everyone here wanted a show, and that splinter was really getting on his nerves.
He brought his wand up quickly to cast the stinging hex. At least now they could be as uncomfortable as he was.

She explored a lot and at times she wandered where she should not be. Now being a prime example since she was the last person who should be anywhere near the dungeons. It was nice to look at though and Kensi was heading on her way out when she heard the exclamations of fight! fight!
It froze Kensi's eyeballs in their tracks. Even though she wanted to take her eyes off, she could not. She had heard and seen fights from afar but to be close enough to smell blood if it dropped..that excitedly her partially but she knew damn well it should not have. Kensi finally blinked her eyeballs as she stopped by the tearstained table where the girl sat looking like she could give absolutely no f.., well you know.
"So barbaric but so entertaining as well wouldn't you say."
Yep, Kensi was very well aware she had just took a seat beside the slytherin girl, but what was the harm.

The entranceway to the Slytherin Common Room had been left agape by whomever had used the password prior, and by some luck of chance Llewellyn had been passing by on one of his semi-regular evening wanders. That is to say, Llewellyn hadn't known that this was the Slytherin Common Room, and the truth had only occurred to him prior to his entry as he looked around and noticed the overwhelming display of gray and deep emerald green.
But it hadn't been the call to fight that had drawn the young Hufflepuff in. In fact, he was fairly oblivious to the commotion as he pressed his hands to the massive green-tinted glass window that bordered the far wall of the frigid Common Room. In truth, it was most unlike the cozy quarters Llewellyn had grown accustomed to. With an air of class, the Hufflepuff quickly realized he stood out like a sore thumb as he gazed in awe at the aquatic scenery outside the dungeon walls. Lucky for Llewellyn most of the attention of the snakes had been deflected towards the center of the chamber where the fight had erupted.
It was then he spotted @ken , a familiar face in a sea of green, and made his way over to her and another girl whom he wasn't familiar with. Arriving just in time to catch Kensington's words he frowned deeply but kept his own sentiments private. "Woah, Ken, what are you doing here? Came to see the sick fishbowl exhibit too?" he motioned towards the large radiant windows. "You don't think someones going to get hurt do you?"

"I got lost and then the barbaric sounds drew my attention."
Kensi was not a barbaric person by any means but she could not help what her eyes thought were entertaining. Plus she did not want to lie to Llewellyn.
"I hope no one gets hurt, but it's looking pretty nasty. Please don't go playing hero."
If this bag of naiveness went in, she did not know if she could deal with what might happen to his face. What, it was just screaming to be pinched.
"Then I was trying to bug this young lady."
She started to say, "yeah the one with the resting bitch face." but she did not. Kensi felt her eyes squinting, oh yeah she needed to grab Batty up soon and go find her glasses still.

Llewellyn offered Ken a perplexed look at her comment about being a hero. Did Llewellyn not seem like the tenacious type? He supposed it came down to his perception of himself versus the impression he left on others. At the end of the day, however, Llewellyn was full well capable of scrapping with the rest of the boys. He was after all, shaped by a culture of fiery compassions. However, this was not his fight to contest.
"You're off your head, Ken," he commented simply, leaning onto his elbows at the table where the younger Snake sat as he waited to see if the fight would combust or fizzle out.
Dueling, however, was not so much his forte as he eyed the boy with his wand callously drawn ready to continue the fight.
Slytherins were kind of terrifying when provoked, weren't they? It was true that Llewellyn had never experienced their acerbity first hand. It made him nervous in truth, suddenly feeling out of place in the snakes nest. Leaning over he expressed his concerns in Kens ear lowly, so the nearby serpents wouldn't overhear.
"Do you think we should stick around you know? Fighting and all?"
After all, Ken seemed like she might have been wiser than himself and if his classmate said their presence was harmless then he'd believe it. His unsophisticated trust in others was indiscreet and often times got him in trouble, but Llewellyn was not wise enough to recognize this flaw in himself.

((let's do this))
It wasn't exactly surprising when Lucia stepped primly aside, letting her brother's hex bounce into the crowd behind her. She always had been one for wreaking maximum damage on the surroundings, especially when those surroundings were other people.
As she turned back to him, Lachlan was treated with a deceptively sweet smile and an unseen force pushing him back into the people behind him.
So this was going to be one of those kind of fights. At least she hadn't tried to take his eye out again.

She nodded towards Llewellyn. More like always off in her own world of excitement where little troll men ran around constantly with jester's masks but who was keeping count. Besides she thought Mr. Ludlow was so pure that he just might have wings if such things existed and yet when she looked at him she seen no such thing.
"I'll leave with you and make sure you get somewhere safe if you want. I mean really it's not our fight anyway."
She turned and waved to the slytherin girl.
"Perhaps I can bother her later."

Delilah was watching the fight, she was half interested and half focusing on her spider fizz, which was spinning a sweet and sour web of awesomeness under her tongue.

Llewellyn offered an indebted nod towards Kensington. She knew what was up, and it wasn't Llewellyn down for getting detention for wandering into the wrong houses Common Room during a ruthless altercation, which was heating up at a disquieting rate as he watched a spell bounce across the room and smack some poor bystander right in he face with a great flash of light. The sight made his stomach curdle and he hoped the two wouldn't injure themselves, or others for that matter, though it seemed to be taking a somber path that he wasn't entirely comfortable with.
"Yeah, I think it's best. Shit is getting intense dude," he concluded apprehensively, the concern stitching across his wide-eyed features. Turning to snake his way through the crowd that was gathering in the common room with Ken in tow, he was cut short of his destination when one of the assailant's stumbled back into the crowd- and coincidentally into Llewellyn, who quickly caught the Slytherin and propped him back up onto his feet innately. Llewellyn had spent his time in a few too many pits to let someone fall on their ass. With a gentle shove he was pitched back into the center of the fight.

"Hey, thanks," Lachlan spared a glance for the person who helped him out and- "Ludlow?"
Hufflepuffs infiltrating the common room. He'd always known they weren't as innocent as they made out, and now they were using Lucia's stupid temper tantrum as a distraction.
Whatever. The mystery of why they were here couldn't hold Lachlan's attention long, because this was no ordinary duel. There were no rules and it wasn't like his darling sister had waited before attacking again. Not that an antler jinx was much of an attack. So far, this was just a game to her.
He let her jinx hit and returned fire a little more literally with a relashio. It looked more harmful than it was.
