A Duel Mate (Ken)

Honestly when someone refers to them self as a handsome devil, all Kensi imagines are horns and a spiked tail with a wickedly fresh grin she supposed even an angel would have a hard time turning it away and then she realized the note was signed by Judge. This guy and his ego. None the less she showed up because she was nice and hanging around people was almost a must.

Also why was he pacing rather excitedly. She looked at him and carefully shook her head as she quickly pinned her hair up out of her face.

Ken : I'm ready to chill, but first what has you..

She wanted to say pacing so frivolously but stopped.

Ken: ..walking rather fast?

"I almost figured you'd bail on me mate," he roared at her his emotions of excitement pushing through but he took a deep breath, "But here you be."

For a second he forgot why they were here then that wave of excitement hit him, "I am overly excited, tha' will explain my 'fast walkin'' love but yer' my only friend right now as far as females go. But as my friend you should, but don't, know I am aspiring to be a professional dueller! School is starting a dueling class! I need practice and I'm looking at you mate."

Her eyes widened as his loudness.

Ken: Victor, I need you to please lower your voice about two volumes.

If he was any louder she might have to start yelling and no one wanted that. She then listened to the rest of what he had to say and spoke afterwards.

Ken : I'm your only female friend because you treat females like meat. Good to stare at, nice to hold from a distance, but you're not into having that extra weight around you for the long haul, which I completely understand and it's why this dynamic works, but dueling?

Damn it. This was where being a girl was hard and it pained her to say this.

Ken: I need you to show me the basics, then I'll gladly defeat you until you become the best.

Still she was here now and she was not backing out, not without at least trying it.

His smile got bigger at her reply and he clapped his hands, "Awesome! OK dueling is simple love, first we get I'm front of each other and bow. We do this tah' size each other up, then we turn and walk 'bout ten paces, this is for strategy, and then we turn and face each other. Thus' a duel starts, wha' defensive and offensive spells you know?"

Ken: Sounds simple enough.

It also sounded like someone could get hurt but that was what made it fun yes?

Ken: I am a quick learner at some things so perhaps this will be one of them. Do you want to take offense or defense first?

This was the strangest friendship ever. It reminded her of having a friend that was always just a few seconds away from smacking you right in the face.

 Judge gave a wide toothed grin and pulled his wand, "I'll take the defense first," he bowed sizing her up, "I'll be yer' teacher Ken fear not my devilishly good looks, I am a formidable teacher and dueller."


Righting himself up he turned with military precision walking ten paces from Ken, "Ready lass?"
