It had took a lot to put this together and to think that this was just the beginning. To be fair her words had pushed him. Pat had spoken a lot of syllables which came across like words but in the end it was nothing but a bunch of hot air. Just enough of a push though. He stood above on a side ways angle and looked down into the greenhouse. It was "cloudy" for lack of better words but the fabric, colored red of course could slightly be outlined. As he carefully squatted down, he slightly tapped on the glass. He did not have time to break this and get in trouble. She should be awaking just about now. He carefully climbed down and went and stood outside the door. He had slid a note under so that when she opened her eyes she would understand. Where to begin..
I liked, even applauded your little stunt. However you know one decent at the very best stunt deserves a return right? No hard feelings Pat, it's just that you pushed me and I want you to see the beginnings of what is sure to be my magical excellence up close and personal.
Well, I mean if you can escape anyway before anyone comes. Don't fret shy girl, for it's only smoke and mirrors right?
C. Strife.
P.S. Look to your left. @pat

She was going to have to physically whoop Cadence's ass. Gee it was too early for her to get so violent but it felt like she had no choice. As a matter of fact it felt dizzy as she slowly opened her eyes. All she could see what smoke and it burned her eyes so much that tears begin to form in her ducts but did not fall as they normally did. Instead they slowly lingered as did the liquid falling from her nose. Oops that was not clear liquid, no that was blood from her having been hanging upside down so long.
The words on the note slowly came into focus as the blood dripped down slowly covering up the letter. So what, his idea was to break her so that she could be as screwed up as he was. No one was ready for that, hell Pat was not ready for that, but here it was happening. Change, gross.
Looking up, she sighed. She needed to get loose and up, slowly shake off the disorient state that was surely to follow and smear emo asshole's face into how much more better she was because she was zen. Look to the left? She turned her head to the left.
"A knife,"
she grumbled. None the less she slowly swung over and grabbed it. Lifting herself up she began to cut the fabric. Piece by piece she watched it shred and then she felt the thud as she hit the ground. Blood splattered as a piece of fabric fell across her.
"You are so dead once I get my equilibrium back."
Attempting to stand up, keeping the fabric draped across, she fell back and felt her back go against the warmth of the greenhouse.
"You cheated, bastard."

He opened the door and stepped in. The smoke screen spell had went off better than he imagined considering he did not practice magic too much. It also did not mean that he did not know it, he just did not practice it. It was a magical school everyone admittedly or not wanted to be perfect at their magic, Cadence just did not obsess. Taking a seat in front of her, he adjusted the fabric a bit.
Cadence: Well, I did not want to take the chance that you'd get the upper hand on me first so maybe just a tad. I'm pretty sure all your yoga mess would make me want to blow my brains out, so, I had to have the upper hand. You were not supposed to sleep so long though.
The blood was an unfortunate side effect. He stood up.
Cadence: Well come on, get on those two feet of yours.
If she came up with some excuse he would feel like she was a failure and that would be sad.
Cadence: Pat, come on and stand.

Gee, she was upset. Like really upset. She eyed the knife. No, to slit it across her friend's throat would be too easy of an out. Slowly she got up, but she did not move. Instead she felt the blood still dripping and she put her tongue out so she could taste it on her nose.
She was still dizzy. Also she noted that she was seeing three shadows of him. Like one was not enough. She leaned against the glass once more and took note that at least the smoke was starting to clear but at this moment it was still covered enough that she supposed at the best they could only see mostly shadows of one another at best. So she turned and began to climb.
"I was hoping we could be BFF's."
Somehow or another that never worked out. Once she was about halfway up, she wrapped most of the fabric from the tip of her hand to around her wrist. Looking down, she still seen three shadows. Fudge it though, she was about to jump. So that was just what she did.
Nailed it! Score! It's all good!
After landing on Cadence's back, she wrapped her legs around his waist and put her arm up against his throat from behind. The fabric began to unwind.
"Do you have any last words, because once I start choking you, that's it."
Ugh!, now she was not so reserved.

His eyes went up but it was too late. She was on his back like nothing less of a monkey.
Cadence: Pat, get off of me, I need to tell you something.
He thought about flipping her off of his shoulder but he was not trying to injure the girl. Instead he swirled around, barely missing the glass.
Cadence: Look, I understand tying you up probably was not the best course of action but I..
He swirled again.
Cadence: Will you get off of me?
Next time he needed to deliver better. Hell it was not his fault. Every time he sat down and even slightly thought about doing something that was semi normal, he knew he would get bored. Magic involved or not, his attention span was just that bad.

Being upset is no excuse for anything but Patricia was not thinking about being her usual calm self. She had rules that she tried to live by and right now she was almost in a chaotic state. Later on she knew that she would blame the disorient state but by the time that became clear it'd be too late.
"Fine,"
she said as she got off of him. The fabric followed her almost on command even though it was an inanimate object. She felt her wand slip down into her hand and she pointed at Cadence and she spoke.
Oblivate.
Uh oh. She had thought about creating false memories but this was better. She needed a do over when it came to her and Cadence's relationship and this was going to give it to her. She watched, patiently waiting.

Cadence: Patr.. Too late. He had figured that Pat would be angry but since they were friends he did not know just how mad. There was also her yoga but Cadence supposed just like some of his memories all that talk about being and keeping Zen went out of the window. *** It was a beautiful view. Honestly down at the greenhouses to him was more than likely one of, if not the best view in the entire school. As far as he could remember he had only been out here for about an hour and a half. He did not know why he came here, and if you were to ask him he would simply tell you that at the moment it just felt right to be here.It was a bit cooler than he liked but that was because it was February, no real complaints. Straightening his glasses up, he finally stood and looked up.Stepping outside and climbing up, he took a seat beside her. Cadence: Patricia, you should come down with me please.

One would not know it by her facial expressions but the fact that ever since the 'incident', the fact that he only referred to her as Patricia was a little heart breaking. It came with the breaks though. She both needed and wanted this and now it was time to make it work. It was a difficult transition though to go from a friend to a love.
She did not want to spend all that time batting around the subject and playing all of those games that were nothing but an emotional tug of war in the end. She both loved and was in love with this freaking weirdo and wanted to be there through both of their journey's as they turn from young teens to adults. The good, the bad, the ugly. The new starts of romance, the times of love and passion and even the times of being the lowest that neither one of them could quite imagine at that moment.
She turned her head to him. It was funny how she was more nervous now around him than she had ever been. She knew it was because she felt guilt but it was too late to go back.
"I...w..w.."
Oh what the total fudge popsicles. She quickly closed her mouth because she could do this. Taking a breath in and exhaling it out she tried again.
"Cay-Cay..er, Cadence I mean, I wa..wa..."
Heck no!

Oh god. Now she was being weird and if it went on for too long it was going to freak Cadence out. What the hell was wrong with her. Honestly the friendship/relationship dynamic between the two of them had always been something he had left up to her but obviously if she wanted more than what they had something was stopping her from saying it. Possibly nerves or maybe she just did not know what she wanted. He did not want her to hyperventilate though.
Cadence: Here,
he said. Damn this was gonna suck really. It never happened the way he thought but it was very obvious that the girl needed help a second.
Cadence: Let me breathe for you.
That was just what he did. He turned her head slightly and put his mouth against hers. Say what you want about memories, say what you want about the this and that of figuring out how to fit in a world that is so big, that it's scary, there is nothing more intimate and pure than a kiss. Not even sex, because you can have sex with anyone and not feel a damn thing but a kiss, if done right can crawl inside of your soul.
Cadence was never going to be able to find the words to express what Patricia meant to him, but for now at least he could breathe for her when it seemed all she could find the ability to do was stutter.

What was he...why was her head tilted and..Oh! Her eyes were open though, she quickly closed them hopefully before he noticed. This was nice. Then she stopped..and she looked at him. Yeah, she..what..uh..
"Thanks, for breathing for me."
She did not want to do words. If that kiss told her anything, it told her that maybe you know he liked her a whole lot of lot too. Yeah that seemed in the right ball park.
"Me too, Cadence Strife, me too."
Still she felt so guilty and she was sure that was going to wreck this sooner rather than later, but for now it was okay.
