I am writing to inform you that despite the unfortunately circumstances involving your last betrothal, as well as your unseemly temperament, I have, with great effort, negotiated your betrothal to the Strangeway heir. Edmund is by all accounts a well mannered young man, and I had to work hard to convince his family that you would make a suitable wife for him. Even though he is a year behind you at Hogwarts, he is also seventeen. As such you will be marrying when the term ends. You will come home over several of the upcoming weekends in order to had your dresses fitted. We must have your dresses ready for the announcement ceremony, the weeding, the after party and your honeymoon. Erica will be helping you shop for your other honeymoon needs. Do try and pass as many of your N.E.W.T.s as possibly though darling, it would be unseemly for you to not put in an effort simply because I’ve found you a perfect match.
