Batty Riggs i would LOVE that! maybe the library would be a good place for them to meet? there would be plenty of opportunities for batty to discover the truth about caoimhe, most notably when caoimhe picnics with her sisters on sundays. i think it'd be great if they started out as friends--maybe batty wants to help since caoimhe always looks so lost--and the more they hang out, the more batty's like 'something isn't right here wtf is going on' and maybe looks into it? would batty follow caoimhe to find answers? caoimhe picnics with her sisters on a rarely-traversed shore of the black lake on sunday afternoons, which would be a great way for batty to find out the truth as caoimhe wouldn't be one to spill the beans quite so readily. thoughts? i'm pretty much game to change any of these details if you have something cooler in mind :D

Caoimhe UisceSounds good  And yes Batty would certainly follow caoimhe, she likes to keep tabs on anything suspicious to get on top of things rather than get surprised and/or fall prey to a surprise attack. Shes paranoid so.. yeah.

I had the random idea of having Harriet recognize Caoimhe as definitely not human, and mistaking her for a vampire (since vampires are what Harriet knows). Hilarity could ensue ...

Batty Riggsfantastic! i'd love to start with their friendship and have it deteriorate over time, but we can also start with batty already mistrusting caoimhe if you'd prefer. @harriet THAT SOUNDS SO GREAT how does it start? distrust from afar? i can see harriet spying on caoimhe from behind a teetering pile of books relating to vampires--maybe she even has a notebook or something like that where she writes down all the weird stuff caoimhe does in an attempt to figure her out? i don't know how you want to play it but i am definitely up for this!
