Judge scanned the entire room, all the faces, and all the broken half smiles. He sighed and took a sip from his cup realizing Ken was so fucking right, "Jaysus Ken, blow me freakin' mind. You always loke this? So, I don't know fuckin real?"
He again pondered this question, "Shit we might be tha' only two who are real in this place, well at least I know who I am. A snarky dick head."

Llewellyn watched his best friends shrinking back make headway towards the igloo. Once out of sight, Llewellyn flung his head back and covered his face with his hands, covering his perception of both the black sky and the beautiful stars that dotted it. His body quietly begged to be laid to rest right there in the snow as it cooled down from its moment of overwhelming sentiment and his brain slowed its fuckin' roll. He could only thank the God that had so long ago forsaken him for the fact that Kai was really utterly oblivious because Llewellyn was not certain how well his affections were hidden. Rubbing his eyes he let his arms drop back down to his side as he followed calmly in Kai's wake. The party was quieting down by the time Llewellyn reentered, no doubt due to the fact a Professor had been there. He offered a sideways glance to Kai in passing but gave his friend and Daniyah Ohme their space as they conversed in that very Ohme-ish way. Llewellyn himself hadn't any siblings- or at least none that he cared to admit to, nor had they been present in his life. He didn't understand the bond the two of them shared, but he respected it all the same. Covertly, he moved crossways from the dance floor towards the drink table where he spotted the familiar face of acquaintance Davina Jade . Prior to going outside Llewellyn had absolutely no intention of getting sloshed, but a spliff and a near nervous collapse later had Llewellyn feeling particularly parched. He poured himself a cup of blue punch and added an extra splash of liquor for good measure before wandering towards his younger classmate, shoving his free hand in his pocket and nodding his head in salutations. "Mind if I stand with you and act like I'm having a great time despite parties like this making me incredibly uncomfortable?" he asked before taking a rather robust gulp of his drink. "I have every intention of getting abso-fucking-lutely blootered in hopes I don't remember anything." His melancholy set green of eyes wandered towards Kai and Dani but the two of them were far too engrossed in their own conversation to take notice.

She looked at him with a look of disbelief on her face. What was she supposed to do, swoon and say things like well fiddley dee and be all caught up in the moment of everything of how unreal and majestic this place looked? No. "Yes, at least to the best of my ability anyway. Come on Judge, there is nothing left at this party for us. If you're lucky, we might see each other again and I might be a little less real, but I doubt it." She was herself as she assumed how he was. "Besides I could never be anything but me anyway." Judge

Standing by the exit of the igloo Dani tried her best to grin and bear what was surely one of the most humbling experiences of her teenage career. She hadn't even heard Professor Trent's conclusive commentary, far too wrapped up in her own surly rationale of the evening's events, while conjointly maintaining her stable conciliatory composure. Even as her friends and colleagues trickled out from the thinning party she kept her chin lifted and a charming tender smile adhered to face. It was her mask, and although it changed and often times was substituted for others- sometimes of intelligence, sensuality, altruism, or puerility- she still wore it every hour of her waking life and never let others catch a glimpse without it. Just when a person thought they could know Daniyah, she could trade one sequined harlequin veil for another. That way, she could be another person in another time and another place. A pair of two toned eyes hovered within her eye line and the stench of hashish promptly chased the visual. When she heard the term of endearment she flicked her eyes away, contrite without wanting to show it. "Yah habibti, aasif," she responded impulsively, exhibiting her indignation for a second. Finally she met her brothers gaze. "Professor Travis came and people started leaving. I spoke with him. He's gone now," she explained brusquely without going into detail. When she thought no one was watching she frowned delicately. "Kai, you reek," she commented gingerly, searching her brothers face for some kind of expressive reaction. She was recalling what Professor Travis had said about Kai and a lump grew in her throat. She wasn't dumb, she knew her brother was a stoner, but was Kai... doing other things? Dangerous things? It didn't seem like him to be so selfish. Grabbing her brothers arm she gently pulled him towards the doorway and into the outside chill. Quieter now, she bore her gaze into the lanky teenage boy before her. "Are you on drugs?" she finally asked, bare-faced to his reaction. "I mean hard drugs, like the stuff that hurts you," she clarified. Was it unfair of her to take advantage of her brother after she knew he drank the truth serum? Perhaps, but it came from a place of utmost concern. Kaimana Ohme

Davina saw a few conversations crash and burn, and enjoyed watching Dani make the Professor leave. Now, that was something to see. As she had suspected, the Ohme sister was not someone to underestimate as Dale had. With the Muggle Studies Professor gone, there was a chance the party wouldn't start totally sucking. Sipping her blue drink, Davina was slyly joined by pungent smelling Llewellyn who was refreshingly honest. "I don't mind, you're not the only one that's awkward," she answered. "If I look comfortable here it's because I'm a really good liar and actress." It was something that was usually unsaid, but... she guessed there was nothing wrong with admitting it?
Smiling at the Hufflepuff, Davina appreciated his need to forget things. It was something she wished she could do as well, but that would require even more tampering of her mind. "I'm ok with just a buzz," she shared, "I don't really think getting drunk is for me. When someone jacks up your brain like someone did with me, you don't go intentionally consuming things that mess up your mind voluntarily. If anything, I'll stop after this drink before I feel anything getting numb and stuff. That happens too when you're drunk, right? Like, you start losing feeling?" Watching Llewellyn glance around and eventually land on his best friend again, Davina suddenly felt stupid for rambling. It didn't feel right in the first place, because she didn't share things like that with just anyone, and now he was just staring around.
"Is Dani really pissed or what? I mean... not everyone left yet, and Travis left so it can't be that- why the fuck can't I shut up?" The realizing came hard to her, producing a worried wrinkle on her brow. "I'm sorry..." she apologized to the Hufflepuff, rubbing her temple. "I don't think I feel well." Leaving the blue drink on the nearest table, she quickly summoned her robe and found her way out, her mind scrambling to to figure out what just happened to her. She needed to find Jasper to magick her mouth shut.

There was a still pain beneath Daniyah's acknowledgement of her sibling. Kai wasn't sure if it was because her party was being roughed about, or if he had disappointed her in some way. He knew it was irrational to fear such a simple thing; Kai simply did disappointing things, and he was well aware of it. But he left her party, left her to the shitty Muggle Studies professor, and was obviously too out of it to be of any help. Something about tonight just stirred Kai's innards the wrong way, where his tongue was heavy with chatter, but his feelings couldn't quite catch up. His now absent friend's courage still burned within him, despite this. "Kai, you reek,"He fell still, jaw slack. Oh. The shaking hands he held before him in protest slowly pushed back into his chest, hugging himself uneasily. As if he was, suddenly, oh, okay with her leaving and totally not doing this right now. Not because he was mad at her, but because he did not like where this was going at all. She directed him out the door, and he couldn't help but oblige. Fear was rattling him now, shaking him harder than the cold ever did. He couldn't look her in the eye, like a child being scolded by his mother. Not that Kai had really ever experienced that kind of punishment; he was a Good Child. He did Nothing Wrong. He was mum's pride, he was the athlete, the one who did well in school. But his siblings were rising above him, and he was falling. He was proud of them. He loved them so, so much. But he knew there were consequences to his actions, and eventually he would have to face them. "Are you on drugs? I mean hard drugs, like the stuff that hurts you,""I- I?" Kai was not expecting that question, mouth agape in silence for a moment. She was staring him down, as if attempting to catch him in a lie. But he knew she would question him eventually, and he always promised himself he would tell the truth. Kai wasn't a liar... But... Maybe sometimes he lied. "I mean. I smoked earlier?" Kai squeaked, surprising himself, but for some reason determined to answer her question, "I- I- I... I pop molly? Sometimes? I don't know if that counts? I don't... I don't know what a hard drug really even is, Dani." His fingers pulled themselves from the cloth of his jacket, running through his hair frantically. What the hell was he doing? Why couldn't he shrug this off with a laugh and a "nah" and get over it? "I th- think I accidentally took something? Tonight, I mean? I don't know what's happening, Dani, and I'm confused, okay?" He shook his head, pulling the skin of his cheeks down with timid fingers, fighting the inevitable tears that would sprout from any sort of conflict. "I don't know what ye' think I'm doing, but I'm not... I'm not trying to hurt you, or myself... I just want to have a good time."Daniyah Ohme fish post format: a lot of digression, last 2 paragraphs are nothing but dialogue

If disappointment had a face, it was 5'5 with jet black hair and deep chocolate puppy dog eyes that gazed at Kai with the melancholy helplessness comparable to an empty jar of nutella. If Daniyah had felt even an inch within control of the direction to this evening then the feeling was gone now. And what was worse, the circumvoluted aftereffect into chaos was entirely her fault. She had asked her brother the question without wanting to know the answer. That was what was anticipated of her, however. Her ravenous curiosity and sly nature had fired back in her face in the worst way imaginable. As she stood there listening to Kai attempting to reason his shitty behavior she wanted to crumble. Who the hell was this guy standing in front of her right now, and what had he done with her brother? Her fists balled up and tears threatened to sting her eyes, a cocktail of anger, disappointment, and grief bubbled up into her esophagus. Even as the cold slick of melting snow slithered its way into her shoes she hardly noticed, blinded by her own histrionics. "Wanted to have a good time Kai?!" The exclamation came out several octaves higher than her regularly shrill delivery. "And you need to be high to do that? You can't just be here, with me? Is that... is that not enough?" As her meltdown peaked Dani felt several eyes burning into the back of her head. Violently she reached up and rubbed her own tender eyes, smearing her makeup all the while refusing to shed a tear (not now at least). Still her voice shook like the wrath of Zeus, her cheeks flushed in raw ire. Narrowing her eyes she stared her brother, her beloved Kai, with nothing but embittered resentment. "You want to know something? You did take something," she said, this time discreetly. "I spiked the punch tonight with truth serum. And you know what? I'm glad I did. I never would have thought... My own brother," she huffed, slowly shaking her head and taking several steps back from her sibling. Suddenly conscious of the crowd that was gathering she shoved a jittery hand into her hair. "I'll uhm... I'll talk to you later," she finished and turned around, abandoning her party and heading back to the castle. Kaimana Ohme Dani's out. Ya'll can continue to post if you want.

That look. That look on her face. To say he knew it well wasn't true, but it was something he knew would well cross her expression at some point in time. Utter disappointment. A lump formed in his throat, and all his words were floating around him like ghosts. Judging him. Haunting him. If he could take them all back, he could. How fucking stupid could he be to admit this to her, to lay himself down into what would inevitably be a line of fire. The daggers from her eyes were merciless. It'd be merciful if she were to actually stab him right then and there. "And you need to be high to do that? You can't just be here, with me? Is that... is that not enough?"He lurched forward, shaking his head in panic. Frantic fingers pulled away from his chest and began waving away her words. "N- No! No, no, no! That's not what I meant, Dani, that's not--"But she started rubbing her eyes then, like she, too, were on the verge of tears, and the weight of Kai's mistakes began to fall into his stomach. He felt sick. Sick of himself. Sick of hurting people. Kai didn't have it in him to hurt people. His tongue could be sharp, but he was plush and gentle. This was not Kai. This was not him at all. He wanted her to understand this, that he never meant to do this. But the fact of the matter was that these were his choices. He wouldn't fight her. He needed to face this, to finally grind into himself that he was a fuck up. A lone hand reached to her, in attempt to console, "You want to know something? You did take something,"He paused, "I spiked the punch tonight with truth serum..."His hand dropped to his side. Wide eyes stared her down, horrified by what she just said. "What?" He almost felt the anger curdle, bubble up in his heart from her betrayal. But he swallowed the bile building up in his throat, and he understood. She thought he would lie to her, and she wouldn't be wrong. She knew he was going behind her back, she knew he was a liar, she knew he was a disappointment. She knew all along, and she caught him, didn't she? He deserved this. He deserved it all. Whatever anger he had was misguided, he was the one who betrayed her. He wondered if she would tell their moms. What would they think? She backed away, and Kai's eyes darted toward all the people nearby, and he couldn't help but feel like a spectacle. There he was, finally out in the open, like it was ever a secret to begin with. Kai the lazy stoner, that's all he was to most people. He suddenly, he felt very alone. He inhaled sharply, turning away from the crowd and walking a different path from Dani's, he pulled himself from the prying eyes that watched the siblings bicker. The further he was from the lake, the more the tears began to stream down his frozen cheeks. The only time he stopped along the way to his dorm was to vomit up blue goo in the courtyard. His sister was his boggart, but it was his mistakes that made her that way. critter u evil binch

"Ye' wanna bail? I got nothing' goin' on and this place is a bore," Judge said as he downed his drink, "If not I'm leaving' I got studying or somethin' to do."
Judge really had NOTHING to do but sticking around here wasn't part of his plan. Ken was attractive and she had caught his eye with her real attitude, Jaysus he sounded soft in his own head and that wasn't Judge at all. He fell for no woman, not now nor ever, and that was that. Extending his hand he gave her a real smile (not his usual fox like grin), "What says you lass?"

The inanimate butterflies on her heels had more life in them than this party currently. She thought about saying no but really what was the harm in leaving with him.
Kensi : You study?
That was hilarious and she doubted it was the truth but whatever. A reason to leave was a reason to leave.
Kensi : Come on, side by side walking is always something I need to work on anyway.
As awkward as it was she supposed they were going to be friends. How almost adorable.
