TRENT TRAVIS [ 6'5" | bisexual | muggle studies | werewolf | ♑ ]
Trent is a jerk, that's pretty plain and simple. He's not nice. He doesn't play well with others. Hell, it doesn't really make sense for him to be a professor. But it's rough when you've been nothing but a vagabond your whole adult life, and he was pretty desperate for a permanent job (and to get out of the criminal life, honestly). What Trent wants in life is constant entertainment, to make himself feel better, because all he really feels is unnecessary anger. He wants pretty desperately to be loved, but he knows better than to expect it. He doesn't talk about feelings. He doesn't care about feelings. He just wants to cook food and watch bad muggle films all day. He's very prone to being the center of conflict, as well as the bane of every girls' existence. Trent's a werewolf, yo. This mostly means he's a bit more aggressive, a bit more sleazy, and a bit more impatient starting a week before the full moon. Once it's over, he's very, very tired and probably the easiest to get along with around then. No one knows he's a werewolf, but those who spend a lot of time with him may notice (everyone else probably just thinks he's a jerkhole, which he is). Also, he's a bit doggish because of this. He likes soft pets, long walks, and eating ass. Swipe right to make a match. "you don't know true scum until you've rped with trent" - critter, 5 may 2016, thank u thank u FRIENDS ;It's worth noting that Trent is very nice to his friends. He'll always playfully tease people, but friends do not nearly face the bully-like disposition he reserves for everyone else. These people are typically those who don't let things get to them, or those brave enough to sit him down and talk to him without him getting snarky about it. He basically needs someone to turn things around on him, he needs honesty. Anyone who's willing to call him out on his shit is a friend of Trent's... Though, he may get kind of grumpy if it's in front of other people. Trent likes people who are humorous, cutesy, obnoxious, gross, and/or artsy. If someone can stand Trent, he's normally cool with them. ROMANCE ;Okay... Why would you do this to yourself but ok... Trent is the boy on the playground that pushes the people he likes. Granted, sometimes he can be extremely sweet if he's alone with them, but otherwise he's just a bully. He's pretty gross, to put it lightly. He'll demean them, degrade them, and make them feel like shit. In a way, he may be doing it in a form of "negging", but really he just wants any kind of attention from them, negative included. He may sometimes stalk the girls he likes, something reserved from his teenage years. He's typically obsessive over a singular girl (never really a guy? but if he's twink enough, sure, but Trent is a traditional sexist, mind you (~: ). It should be noted that he frequently sleeps around and whether or not he's attracted to them isn't important, as long as he's pitching. Female students beware, he's a creep. Not handsy, no, but the eyes and the remarks may be enough for some girls to feel unsafe. ENEMIES ;Do I really need to expand on this, I mean?? Smh??? Well, important things to know about Trent and people he doesn't like. Trent isn't really a "bully" until he dislikes someone, then he'll go out of his way to make them uncomfortable. He can ruin days, parties, lives, all for the low low cost of FREE. Trent may sometimes experience guilt after these fits, but he bites his tongue from apologizing so that he doesn't appear soft. Basically, provoking Trent may give ya' a lifetime ticket to a greasy man's wrath. He's a slob, a creep, a weirdo, and overall hard to be around. If he doesn't like you, he's going to let you know. OTHER ;Etc, etc. Oh, I should add! His class is an easy O, and that's sorta well known around school. Everyone sits around and watches muggle films all day, and he takes recommendations. Assignments are a thing, but he's willing to discuss them whenever. He expects people to understand how muggles work in this here 2050. CHARLIE CARLISLE | Trent's Illegitimate Child | ADOPT THEM HERE

I think John would clash head with Trent pretty well. Their could be arguments between the two teachers. Maybe coming close to full on fights. I think it would be interesting if John and Trent were to resort to school kid behavior. A for why they hate each other it could be they've met a few times and just weren't fond of each other or they knew each other back in school.

Daniyah OhmeWants nothing to do with this creep and probably avoids Trent as much as possible. I can see her also calling Trent out (in the nicest way possible / if he's unavoidable) on being a creep just so he's like self aware because she's pretty naive and probably doesn't think he knows how others view him. I don't think Muggle Studies is a class she's interested in however. Llewellyn Ludlowwould definitely take his class but might not test well despite you saying it's an easy O hahahhaha. I can picture Llewellyn being the type of test taker that overthinks EVERYTHING and winds up failing pretty miserably. He would like his class anyway and probably frequently suggest movie titles because that's kind of his thing. Likely oblivious to Trent as a person in the sense that he's a big weirdo since Llewellyn tends to live off in Llewellyn land. Noel BeckettHates Trent for being a skeeze, probably takes his class and sleeps through it since it's his last year, but does well anyway. I can see Noel having big issue if Trent was inappropriate to any girls in his class and would more than likely mouth off to him.

John Drake I think it's fitting that these two would clash. They're both bold Gryffindors, but opposites in interests, especially since Trent and animals just do not get along. Trent being a former criminal, John being a former auror it seems? (did I catch that right?) Or at least soldier-esque, which Trent would not be fond of. As to why they don't like each other, I feel like they'd run into each other in the great hall and the corridors and whatnot and just immediately Not Do Well. John's a little too young to have tussled with Trent in school, which is... kind of funny imho since John looks so much manlier and more mature than Trent (which I guess is actually true in personality too LMAO). I'd love it if it'd fall to schoolboy immaturity between the two of them, though, omg. Tripping each other, calling each other names, throwing each other's bags into the lake. "Meet me in the courtyard at 5:00 PM, I'm gonna beat ur ass!!!!" Daniyah Ohme Trent says, "Ten points from Ravenclaw for not staying in your fuckin' lane, tiny child." He'd just think she's a pest, honestly. Too diplomatic for her own good. I suppose diplomatic isn't the exact word I'm looking for, but y'know what I mean. He's not fond of people thinking he's gotta change, he knows he's gotta change, thank u very much, and he'd rather cry into his pillow at night ok. Anyway, I doubt they'd run into each other a lot, but y'know. Just in case. Llewellyn Ludlow Ayyyyy lmao (; boy u want some extra credit Poor Llewellyn. I think Trent would feel honestly bad for him and his test scores. Jokes aside, he does offer study sessions. I picture them a lot like this one teacher I had in school who was a creep; people were wary to go, but when they went things would always go a lot smoother than expected. Of course, Trent's more true to his creepiness, but Trent also did shit in school and would understand. But I do stand by Trent thinking he's a qt with a booty. Not stalking material, but possibly flirtiness that'll probs go over Llewellyn's head tbh lmaooo sry he's gross Noel Beckett Noel is small potatoes. A tiny pretentious. Trent would see too much of himself in Noel, honestly. He'd hate 'im. Trent wouldn't even want him in his class, but would be fine as long as Noel keeps his filthy mouth shut. I feel like Trent would purposely do things just to annoy him, even when Trent doesn't sincerely mean any of it. It'd be like Trent's in his 7th year all over again, making a handful of people miserable because he can. I see a lot of, "Ooo, lil' Noel acting like a big man~" kind of mocking. Very childish, of course. How well known is Noel's... family situation? Would professors know?

YEAH Dale would just not take his class because he would find it a "pointless waste of time" (hes muggleborn after all) Batty Riggs would be absolutely terrified of him as she is with most bullies and aggressive types. It would be interesting if he decided to be creepy with Batty as she would already be scared of him to begin with and it would piss off Noel so you could kill two birds with that one xD

The Murphy Imho, Trent would think Batty is weird as fuck and would probably purposely mess with her. Make shit up. She's afraid of paranormal stuff, right? "Bigfoot is a muggle and he sucked my d*ck behind an Arby's" kind of things Honestly..................... That doesn't mean he wouldn't find Batty cute. Skittish, redhead, Hufflepuff. She's got the goods, physically, that's about all he needs. And you're totally right, he'd totally do it to spite Noel too. Just make the whole room uncomfortable, but especially that lil' slimeball. I can't say for certain what exactly he'll say yet, but it'll definitely be inappropro, I won't let u down~

lmao it's ok i knew i was tossing a lamb to a wolf by even throwing llewellyn in that. he's a capable boy he'll be fine / probably won't even notice to be honest with you. as for Noel Beckettit's probably pretty common knowledge that his parents run a foster home (their property is large and it's in London) but they're probably seen as benevolent for taking in wizard / witch kids rather than seriously neglectful parents. there's probably a small handful of kids that have passed through hogwarts (ahemELIAS) but most of them come from such crappy places that they're pretty unlikely to complain about Noel's actual parents. However, how Noel tormented them during their time at the foster home being common knowledge is up for debate.

I feel like as long as Llewellyn isn't feeding the fire, the grossness will be at a minimum, so I think he'll be fine LMAO Noel Beckett I realized the thing I was considering wouldn't work, because Trent went to muggle foster homes + may be way too old? So nvm about that I was gonna say he could extra hate Noel bc of his parents. How fucked up would that be daaaang. I think Trent would still sort of take out his orphan anger out on Noel tho, if it's common knowledge. He absolutely hates foster care as a whole due to his hopping around.

Post by Cecelia Reinhardt on May 7, 2016 16:01:27 GMT -5
offering up Cecelia Reinhardt as I think she'd try to befriend Trent immediately, unaware of his personality but eventually once she see's how he can be her attitude towards him would be sour, also she'd be very defensive over any girls she see's him leering at. This could lead to fiery conflict of some sort! ;D oh she's friends with John too so if she ever saw a fight or them getting in each others faces she'd naively try and be like "seriously stop it!" I also have Winona Quartermere who is a pureblood fifth year who is upbeat, a bit outspoken, inquisitive and pretty nosy. She was brought up sheltered from muggle life so she'd definitely be taking the class.

Cecelia Reinhardt Omg she's so cute ;w; I'm sorry to say, but Trent would totally creep on her. But, initially, if she were to immediately try to befriend him, he'd be really, really nice. He's nice to his friends, and he's nice to people who treat him well. And like? He's really considerate with nice, pretty people, and he'd think she's like Nicely Nice Gorgeous. Obviously like, she'll see him how he's with other people, especially girls, and it definitely makes sense she'd want None of that lmao. But dropping Trent is like. The Worst. He's a big piss baby who can't take rejection, especially if it's like, All Together No More Friendship, but still p bad if she just tries to phase him out. So, he'd be extremely bitter toward her, and he'd be VERY gross and very disrespectful, mostly because he assumes he can get away with it. Just go out of his way & be a fuckin' jerk kind of thing. Oh, but hey! Maybe that's why part of the reason John Drake and Trent just can't get along, if Drake & Cecelia are friends. It'd make a whole lot of sense, friends defending friends kind of thing. Trent hates them both smh this is messy Winona Quartermere Awwwh, she's cute tooooo TwT Despite everything, Trent doesn't like... Out of nowhere start treating gals horribly. Like yah, he's a fuckboy, but there's more to him than that, y'know? I'm mostly just prefacing the fact that I think, if she's genuinely interested in his class, he'd feel kind of bad that all it is, is just watching movies all day. He naturally expects people to just Know about muggles, and Winona is like, an example of how naive he can be. So!!! He takes recommendations from his class for things they wanna see. Slips of paper and all that, and they can just shove it onto his desk at the end of class or they can just outright ask him. If she were to put forth things she's interested in, she'd be one of the kids that he tries to really accommodate for the sake of them Actually Learning. Also, he offers study sessions for OWLs/NEWTs and whatnot!! So, he's like... sorta There to Actually Help if she needs him There. A lot of stuff that you didn't ask about, but just some ideas I'm throwing your way if you're interested~

Yes to all!!! <3 I love all the adds given and am excited to see them in action. Trent would definitely wind Cece up with his behaviour, she's so set on keeping up appearances though and being professional that she'd get even more annoyed when he breaks her composure! She would be like, maybe if you grew up I'd still want to be your friend! All huffy ;D and yes to friends defending friends with John, she'd jump in between their arguments or at least try to As for Trent and Winnie she would probably approach him out of the blue a lot of the time and ask him questions about muggle stuff, like impromptu tutoring sessions I think she'd see him as being pretty cool though (she's a right weirdo is Winona; D) and definitely be slipping lesson ideas to him. Shall we get one or both of these ideas threaded? ^_^
